An invitation to practice Yoga Nidra

From the ancient yoga tradition, we embrace Yoga Nidra as the process of moving into pure consciousness. This deep relaxation practice gradually moves our awareness from the external layer of the body to deeper and deeper layers - of the breath body, the emotional body, the wisdom body and ultimately the bliss body. This guided meditation will call in the healing and transformative energy of your own body, mind and spirit.

 

Yoga Nidra is meant to be easefully experienced.   You may choose to lay down, be supported by props and blankets or lean against a wall. I always endeavor to create an accessible and welcoming environment.  In order to go to a very deep meditative state, you will be guided to a place of protection, where you feel held and supported.  The depth of this practice heightens the awareness that we are all connected.  After the Yoga Nidra guided experience we journal and reflect.
