First and always, I am a dancer. I have been saying that to myself and the world since I was a child. This identity became so entwined with who I was that I found myself looking into the mirror and to the outside for approval. I was trapped in a limiting belief that the judgments of others could define me.
Through the mindful practices of yoga, and the sacred path of the labyrinth, I have come to understand the difference between doing and being. I now look inward to reflect, listen and understand myself as a being in motion, as well as a being in stillness. A deep sense of peace is now mine to hold and to share.
I ultimately had a very fulfilling career in dance performance, choreography, and above all, teaching all over the country. Following the path of my heart eventually led to a deeply fulfilling journey; one on which I still move, flow and create through yoga, mindfulness, poetry and the arts.
Once I reclaimed my true sense of self, the way forward unfolded, along with a strong call to be of service. No longer silenced by the voices of others, my inner gifts emerged, and my skills as a teacher transformed. I now invite others to discover their own inner truths.
I am dedicated to supporting others to find their voice and their path. I find teaching, coaching and empowering others to be my highest purpose. Grounding everything I do in the expansion of awareness and cultivation of community, I flow into well being.
